Capitals Blue win the inaugural 12U B Capital Cup!

Our Capital Cup was a huge success! Special congratulations to our 12U B1 team, coached by Chris LeClair, which won the 12U bracket of our Capital Cup tournament yesterday! Awesome job girls!

A big congratulations to our 10U B1 team, coached by Sean Skrypek, which made it to the championship game of the 10U bracket, but, with only nine players, couldn’t overcome the talented Thunder Bay Fury.

Congratulations also goes out to our 12U B2 team, coached by Kevin Dolan, and our 10U B2 team, coached by Jeremy Strehlo, which played valiantly in their games. We hope all the girls had a blast in our home tournament!

A special thanks to Capital Cup organizer Heather Scanlan, who led the charge on this tournament from way back in July, and created an awesome tournament environment this weekend. Sara Michel and Bridget Neurer worked right alongside Heather and played a large part in making our Capitals Cup so successful. Thanks to Katie Roedler who ordered all the awesome tournament merch, and to Katie Murphy for supporting all these efforts, and thank you to all the volunteers who helped make the Capitals Cup a huge success! And a special shout out to Capitals Cup creator and presenter Kevin Dolan. Thank you all! 

We had to cancel our girls tournament last season, so it is awesome to bring it back in a new and better form! Congrats to all our teams, and thank you to all for making the Capital Cup a huge success!
